Journal entries
Open Journal in the story player to review discoveries from the current run. The player can record artifacts and revealed clues from a completed turn, and a story can add other reader-visible entries. Entries may identify the scene that produced them. The Journal is not a free-form notebook.
Asking a question during a documentary keeps the question and evidence-bound answer in that session's transcript. It does not advance the documentary or create a Journal entry; use Continue when you are ready to move to the next authored sequence.
Instructional assessment attempts belong to the course progress record, not the Story transcript or Journal. Reopening the course derives its lesson and module progress from those attempts.
Use the tabs or search to narrow the list. Unread shows entries that have not been opened; opening an entry marks it read. Pinned keeps selected entries at the top and can also be used as a filter. Mystery progress includes only clues that this run has already discovered; the solution appears only after the mystery is solved.
Recaps and public recaps
A session recap summarizes confirmed history so a reader can return after a break. Previously shows the short recap; Show full recap opens the longer version. If a recap and transcript appear inconsistent, reload the session and report the story and session identifiers without pasting private credentials.
The session owner can select Share recap to create a public link. The link publishes the recap and basic story details, not the reader's identity, session identifier, or signed-in transcript. It expires after 30 days. Sharing again creates a new link and immediately makes the previous link unavailable. Treat the current URL as public while it remains active.
Unseen world updates
Some creators enable world progression while a reader is away; other stories leave it paused. For an enabled story, an absence of at least 30 minutes can advance the session's world clock within the creator's configured rate and cap. The return card can summarize elapsed world time and movements for characters and locations this run has already discovered.
Pending updates appear on My Sessions, and a session with updates can move into the Continue position when no search or filter is active. Opening the session presents the complete catch-up before it is marked viewed. Dismissing that catch-up clears its pending-update state.
World clock and schedules
Stories that use world time can schedule events and character availability against that clock. The displayed time belongs to the story world, not the reader's device timezone. Creator-authored gates decide which scheduled event can become reachable; changing a phone clock does not advance the authoritative story world.
