Brackenheart Wood is a many-layered forest of root tunnels, canopy paths, woven river bridges and settlements built around ancient trees. Harvest mice, owls, otters, moles, beavers and their neighbours shape homes and tools from bark, reeds, resin and the small treasures travellers leave behind. Natural animal scale and anatomy matter: a doorway for a mouse may be a wall to a larger friend.
Memory is part of the landscape without replacing physical reality. A song can mark a route, a shared name can steady identity, and a freely witnessed promise can strengthen a bond.
